We had one busy week getting ready for some special events...
But we were up for the challenge!
We compared and examined apples...
making sure they were just right for our pies.
Next we had to core the apples...
It looked like a "slinky"!
Stretching the dough was a little tricky...
but it made a nice little pocket for our apples!
We added LOTS of cinnamon...
and we couldn't forget the sugar!
It smelled delicious!
Yes, we made some GREAT apple pies!
We also made some great churches!
and then headed over to our church...
to do some cleaning.
This was our special gift to God.
We are also busy preparing for another special event...
We made up some great "moves"...
Made some special flags...
The best thing we made... some GREAT memories!
The dads arrived with their game faces on...
They were ready for this Olympic challenge!
We made sure we had the snack of champions...
OLYMPIC RINGS (okay so it was Cheerios, Fruit Loops, & Gummi Lifesavers)!
It was GAME time: let the OPPOSITE Olympics begin!
They speed stacked little and big...
Fast and slow...
Did some Opposite bowling...
These Opposite Olympians ran around things...
Over things...
and RAN...
and ran some more.
We found some true champions...
some AMAZING athletes...
But most of all we found some AMAZING dads!!!
