Check out our Mexican Hat Dance! Thanks Mrs. Rutledge!!!

We also celebrated being UNIQUE! We talked a lot about how special God made each one of us...

After reading Shades of People, we created a special picture to match the one in the story.

To celebrate Martin Luther King Jr.'s birthday, we wrote and illustrated our own "I have a dream..." speeches. Here they are:

I HAVE A DREAM...
that people wouldn't be hungry anymore,
that the world would be a better place by having no fighting or weapons,
that people would not be mean to each other,
that everyone would be nice to each other,
that everyone would help each other,
that people would not hunt animals,
that no one would yell and be mean,
that no one be would be allergic to anything,
that everyone would be loving,
that everyone would play together,
that everyone in the world would be happy,
that everyone would love each other,
that everyone's dream would come true,
that everyone would play together,
that the poor would have food to eat,
that the bad guys would turn into good guys,
that everyone would have a family,
that there would be no more war,
that everyone would be happy.
