We were excited to be back after our long weekend!
These kiddos were ready to build and create.
CAMP-LEARN-A-LOT rolled into our classroom this week.
The kids were hunting for alphabet tents.
Fishing also was on our to-do list at Camp-Learn-A-Lot.
They went to the pond and found some alphabet fish.
Then they had to find it's match.
Working on building campsites was also on the agenda.
Some friends worked together to build some "HAPPY CAMPERS"!
In the afternoon we were fishing for numbers.
Whatever number they caught,
they had to practice writing it.
The kids also enjoyed sorting buttons.
They were amazed at all the different types they had in their pile.
Wednesday we headed over to music class with Mrs. Crumrine.
We learned some new songs for church!
Mrs. Helmkamp led our chapel this week. It was all about God's rescue plan.
Thanks for your generosity! Our chapel offering this month is going to Salem Lutheran School.
Back in the classroom we were pretending to make "s'mores".
After rolling the dice,
we had to put that many marshmallows on our graham crackers.
We had to see if we had more graham crackers or more marshmallows.
At the tables we played the same game.
After reading about the VERY HUNGRY WORRY MONSTERS (who like to eat our worries),
the kids got to work creating their very own worry monsters.
They also enjoyed stamping out some letters in the playdoh.
First they had to grab an alphabet fish.
Then they stamped that letter in their play-doh.
We were also busy sorting pom poms with tweezers.
First the kids had to roll the dice.
Then they had to pick up that many pom poms with their tweezers.
Wemberly Worried was another book we read on Wednesday.
We talked about what makes us worried,
and practiced our best worried faces!
Next up was painting circles like Wemberly's.
We can't wait to share this special project with you!
Thursday the rain came but that couldn't stop our fun!
Look at the school these girls created.
These boys were quite the team!
It was tricky to try to get it to balance!
We were also busy looking for our missing shoe!
We had to find the person that had our shoe.
And we had to give the shoe we had to the right person.
The kids did a GREAT job of reading each other's names.
During math, the kids were helping the piggies find their puddles.
One friend closed their eyes, while the other friend put out some puddles.
Next up, we worked on name puzzles.
The kids looked inside their envelope and found their name all in pieces!
Once they put their name together,
they put together a friend's name.
We were also busy playing a special game of tower UNO.
Whatever number they flipped, they had to build that tall of a tower.
They checked to see who had the tallest tower.
To finish our day, we worked on our Bible verse.
God is love. 1 John 4:16

Friday we finally got a chance to head back to gym with Mrs. Jennings!
Turtle tag was back!
These kids worked hard to tag their friends.
Such great turtles in kindergarten!
Some little pets showed up in our classroom.
The kids each got to pick a pet for the day.
Then we placed our pets on our giant graph.
We even had some silly pets like a kangaroo sneak into our classroom!
We also practiced making a graph with zoo animals.
Our pinchers were hard at work trying to sort these foam letters.
We even discovered some numbers snuck in our bowl!
The kids also enjoyed building with our logs.
They had such great imaginations.
The kids were also hard at work matching pencils.
They had to go grab a picture then find the letter that matched the beginning sound.
We even ventured outside on a search to match the camping pictures.
We finished our day by reading this silly story about TOO MUCH GLUE!
The kids had a blast creating their own gluey mess of a person.
After the glue drizzled on, they got to add some fun decorations!
What? The week is over???
