God's love stretched across our week!
We were very busy building and creating again this week.
We were also busy talking about the shape cylinder this week.
The children enjoyed measuring and creating with cylinders.
Gym was exciting as we used teamwork to play this game of catch!
They worked hard to get the ball to fly to the ceiling!
It was fun to watch them and hear their laughter.
As we worked on the letter Q...
we popped over to meet the quilters.
We had lots of questions for them.
They even let us look under the quilt for a closer look at their hard work.
We had a few quilting stories of our own to share with them.
We LOVED visiting with them!
We even found some familiar faces from our Prayer Pal group!
I think we could have stayed all day visiting with these kind ladies.
We found more familiar faces on our playground!
Thursday we headed to chapel. It was led by student council.
They did a great job of reminding us that
Jesus is our light!
The kids were shining for Jesus on the playground...
as they invented a new game that included the whole class!
Having healthy teeth was another topic of discussion.
The children worked hard to match the capital to lowercase teeth.
The tooth fairy also arrived.
They had a great time counting out money
and delivering it to a sleeping child.
What a surprise when they "woke up"!
We ended our day with a fun pep assembly for the boys and girls basketball teams.
The cheerleaders led us in a few cheers...
and showed us some amazing tricks!
The pep assembly wasn't complete without some fun relay races.
We had fun cheering our teams on to state!
Friday some new friends stopped by!
Mrs. Cornejo's 5th graders came
to help us finish our invitations to our grandparents.
We found some familiar faces in the group!
We loved reading with them
and to them!
Thanks for your help 5th grade!
We can't wait to see where God's love shows up next week!
