A T-riffic Week!

It was one T-rrific week!

We were all twisted up on Monday as we played a tricky game of Twister!

The children had to find words not colors! They are quite the readers!

We were all tied up this week too!

The children enjoyed creating letters with the ties.
Some even spelled their names!
Tuesday was a T-rrific day with the letter T and our favorite t-shirts.
We had to look for special t-shirts.
Once we found it, the kids wrote down the shirt they found.
We even had a tricky t-shirt store!
Once they bought the t-shirt, they had to toss the shirt to their "assistant".

It was a T-rrific t-shirt store!

Next up was our T-party!

We had some toast...

that we turned into T's!

We also had some "tea" at our T-party.

We even gave a toast to celebrate our party!
Our t-shirt fun continued...

as we learned how to tie-dye...

tiny t-shirts!

We wished we fit into these tiny t-shirts!
Our t-shirt day was totally T-riffic.

Wednesday took us to a very special chapel.

We had so much food to carry over...

we could barely hang onto to it all.
The whole school dropped off their special food offerings.

It filled the whole front of the church!

The Student Council members then led us in a chapel about Thanksgiving.

They taught us to be thankful for all that we have.

It was a great way to celebrate Thanksgiving.

Thursday we went on a little hunt.

A turkey hunt!

We had to wear special glasses to find them all!

Gobble gobble!
We also learned about David and Goliath.

We cheered for David...

until we realized God was the reason David was defeated Goliath.

We celebrated our Bible verse by praising God with instruments on Friday.
We then listened to "Peter and the Wolf".

The children LOVED listening to the instruments...

and illustrating the story.

They were excited to hear how the story ends!

The children were so excited about instruments...

they created their own music,

and their own instruments.
They even created their own band!

They are quite the conductors!

It was a T-rrific week indeed!

We are excited to see what Thanksgiving fun trots into our classroom next week!
