Dynamite Week!

We were ready for  a DYNAMITE week!
More learning adventures were headed our way!

We celebrated DOT Day by making our names out of dots.

We used the opposite end of the brush to make tiny little dots.
We also read the book The Dot and made our very own dot.

Some weren't too sure how they would turn out!

Every dot was different but absolutely beautiful.

We also read a book about a dog who had colorful dots, so we made some colorful dogs too!

Matching up color words to colorful dogs was also something we tackled.

We also played  "Who Let the Letters Out?!!".
Mr. Debrick also showed up for the letter D.
He read to us about a dog who liked donuts.

We were really hoping Mr. Debrick would show us his dance moves! Maybe next time!
Some D-tectives showed up on Thursday.

The D-tectives went in search of all the numbers they could find at Zion.

They wrote down all of the numbers they could find.
They found some in the school office.

These quiet D-tectives found some numbers on top of boxes.

They found some on classroom doors too.
They even found some in the 4th grade classroom.

Our day was not complete

until a bunch of DYNAMITE DADS showed up!

We had a lot of fun hanging out with the dads.

The dads had to be detectives too!
They even wore disguises!
We did stop to take a break for snacks.

It was a great day!

We hope they stop by again soon!

Here is a little video of our special day...
Jesus loves you and so do we!
