Alphabet Adventures

We were all lined up for another great week!
We had fun learning each other's names better this week.

We also had fun learning about each other.
We made a graph and found out we have 8 boys and 12 girls in our class.

The alphabet was full of adventures this week too!

We loved hearing and singing about a Chicka Chicka Boom Boom Tree!

Then we acted the story out using our magnetic letters.  Will there be enough room?

Tuesday we took our adventures on the road.

We took our cameras with us and looked for things from  A to Z.
We stopped by the library for the letter L.

Then we headed to the office to see what we could find.
We found Mr. Debrick who gave us a doorknob.

Mr. Marolf  was there too!  We took a picture of his Carlos Martinez picture for the letter M.
Mrs. Haun shared hugs and happy face erasers with us!

We then made our way over to church.

We trekked all the way upstairs.
We found a lot more friendly faces who had some amazing things to share with us.

Mr. Hugo had lots of high fives and hand shakes to share!

After chapel we found more fun friends in the church office.

Mrs. Thomason showed us a $2 bill.

Then we found Pastor Reitz "resting"!

When he finally woke up, he had a red ring around his neck!
Our cooks had some yummy foods to show us!
We enjoyed seeing the inside of the kitchen!

Our nice nurse was perfect for the letter N!
It was a great hike, filled with lots of fun adventures!
Wednesday we went to gym for the first time!

We had a blast playing line tag.
We took the alphabet ventures back to our classroom too!

Some children discovered they could make words!

Others went hunting for letters in our room.

As busy as we were, we were never too busy to help a friend!

We loved to create together and

 and play matching games together.
Even writing together on our "magic boards" was  a fun adventure.

We ended our week with a few visits from more friendly faces.

Mrs. Wegner, our reading specialist, stopped by to read to us.

Then some GREAT 6th graders stopped by to help us with one more adventure!

We went looking for letters all over the playground.

Along the way we found some  FANTASTIC new friends! They even made up special handshakes!

We truly are ALL FOR ONE!
