We leaped right out of February
into March!
We celebrated Leap Day...
with a little leap frog!
We also got our invitations ready for our grandparents,
and we headed out to the mail box.
They couldn't wait to deliver their special invitations to their grandparents.
We found Zion's mailbox in front of school.
It holds a lot of mail!
The flag is UP! Get ready for some fun mail!
Tuesday we celebrated READ ACROSS AMERICA by heading to Lutheran High...
Some kids were worn out by the car ride over.
No worries...
They perked right up
once they met their new high school friends!
They helped us read LOTS of Dr. Seuss books!
Every time we read a book...
we put a piece of America into the puzzle.
We worked really hard!
Book after book we read...
We had to really hustle
to get all the books read!
Even our shoes were falling off we were working so hard!
The puzzle was almost complete...
Mr. Bernhardt read to us the last book.
He put in the last piece to complete the puzzle!
Hip, hip hurrah! We READ ACROSS AMERICA!
It was a great day!
Things were still hopping back in the classroom as we learn about kangaroos.
We were also very busy...
getting ready for a special day on Monday!
A KING will arrive!
We can't wait to see what adventures pop up next week!
