A Time of Giving...

It was a great week for building

and creating!
We put our imaginations to work...

as we used different tools to make real...

and abstract masterpieces.
We also began preparing for Christmas.

We stamped out circles to create a tree.

We then decorated the tree to make it look fancy!

Making our very own ornaments...

was also exciting!
We can't wait to hang them on the tree!
Gift giving was also on our list of things to do this week.

We made a list of names of who we wanted to shop for.

Then we designed our own store...

creating pictures, maps of where to go in the store, and price tags.

The gift giving store was open for business!
Our fun didn't stop there...

We headed over to the church basement and sang for some lovely ladies.

Well... we found some other fun people too!

They were so kind and gave us each a gift.

We finished our week by creating a special Advent wreath.

Advent is a time of waiting...
and a time to get ready for the birth of Jesus our Savior.

Student of the Week...
She is five years old.
Her favorite food is ice cream.
Her favorite color is pink.
She likes to go to gymnastics.
She is a daisy scout.
She has a brother and a sister.
She would like a bunny rabbit for a pet.
She would like to have flying as her superpower.
Her favorite Bible verse is:  God is love.  1 John 4:16
She is glad that Jesus saved us.
