A Future With Hope...

This week was popping with excitement,

as we put our finishing touches on kindergarten.

Another fun visitor stopped by to share her talents with us.

Mrs. Bredow is a very talented artist who has done several murals around our school and church.

The children were so inspired by her, they tried a little painting of their own.
After reading You Are Special  by Max Lucado, we had a little talent show to share some of the many talents that God has blessed us with.

Some students told jokes.
"Why are pirates, pirates? They just ARRRGH?"

Which had us giggling and smiling from ear to ear.

Others shared their talent of reading.

We just LOVE hearing "Elephant and Piggie" books!
They make us giggle and smile too!

One fantastic hula hooper showed up!

She kept going and going...
We finally had to stop her after one hundred!

Next up was a magician.  He amazed us with his tricks!

But I am still waiting for him to make money appear in my pocket.  :)

Then came some talented dancers.

They amazed us with their tricks too!
More talented moves came along,
as we saw the talent of stunt fighting.

We also had a talented basketball player show up.  He had some moves of his own to share.

Another special talent was throwing
and catching a ball!

Next was the musical portion of our show.  A guitar player rocked out for us!

Then came a piano player who played, "Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious"!
Another fun talent was snapping fingers.

We took our show on the road as we went outside to see some talented jumpers.
Yes, this sure is one talented group!

We ended our week with some dancing, singing,
and some laughing.

It was time to pack up more than just our stuff...

as we moved onto first grade.

It was time to pack up all of our memories.

It has been a such wonderful year.
What a joy to watch these little 5 and 6 year olds grow! More than that it was AMAZING to watch their faith grow.  My favorite part of the day was listening to them say their Bible verses. They have definitely "Hidden His word in their Hearts".   Here are a few of our favorite verses...

Jesus loves you and so do I!
Have a great summer.
