It has been a ground breaking last couple of weeks!
They've been short, but we've packed in the excitement!
Zion officially kicked off the building project with a ground breaking ceremony.
The kids even got to help with the "digging"! Definitely a day to remember.
Learning about the letter L also brought some fun to our room!
We went on a letter hunt, looking for some special letters.
The letter L also brought a special librarian to our room!
She told us lots of lovely stories...
She made us laugh and laugh!
Miss Julie is one lovable librarian!
We also enjoyed looking for leaves this week!
The wind blew in lots of fun leaves to find.
We worked together to make one big pile of leaves.
We even found some acorns hiding in the leaves.
One child said, "it was the best recess ever"!

We were sad to leave the fun behind...But there was more fun to be had!
 We created pumpkins with kool-aid...

Then we took a look at some real pumpkins.

Some described it as stringy...

Others thought it felt squishy...

or  just plain icky.
We all agreed it was gooey fun!
More excitement came with the Harvest Party!

Some fun turkeys showed up...
to join our party...

And some adorable pumpkins too!
The last few week may have been a blur of excitement and fun...
But they have been full of friends and great memories.
