We rolled right into this week...
ready for fun...
and work!
We kicked off the week with Cinco De Mayo!
The Mexican Hat Dance
took a little bit of practicing...
but we got it!
We also worked hard at making our own tortillas, kindergarten style!
This week we also began talking about different jobs.
We got to be doctors and take x-rays of "The old lady who swallowed some words"!
A very special vet stopped by...
And she brought some furry friends too!
They were very cuddly!
We tried to take a few of them home in our pockets! :)
But they didn't want to hold still!
It was a very special day!
We had another job interview on Thursday. This one was with Mr. Thoelke!
He taught us a lot about his job and the organ.
He even showed us how the pipes work!
The children were amazed at his wonderful talents.
We decided it was our turn to try out some jobs!
Some fun boxes arrived!
So we used our decorating skills to brighten them up a bit!
We dabbed, drew...
cut,
and created...
"It is not a box"... it is FUN!
More fun arrived when some lovely ladies stopped by!
They brought lots of smiles and laughter!
We brought out our best singing voices and great cooking skills!
Of course we brought lots of messes too!
Another special day...
