We had a GREAT week celebrating Week of the Young Child!
We decided to do a little moving...
So, we gave our "houses" to our friends down in Sonshine Center.
We also began talking about what we would like to be when we grow up...
So Pastor Rouland came to visit to talk about being a pastor.
He also read to us one of his favorite books!
A special picnic with special friends made lunch on Tuesday exciting!
It was also game day on Tuesday...
Next we payed a special visit to Mr. Thoelke...
He taught us a few things about his job too!
The children were AMAZED! Here is a little sample of his skills...
On Thursday we were quite excited to lead the school in prayer...
Then another visitor came by to talk about being a construction worker.
He is currently working on a project at the St. Louis zoo so he fit right in with our classroom fun! :)
To finish our day off, Mackenzie's mom came and talked about being a nurse! We "scrubbed" up and were ready to go!
What week! But we weren't done yet...
Friday a bunch of GREAT moms showed up!
They brought their fun smiles and tag-playing skills too!
We were so excited to have them join us!
But we put them to work creating, building...
and doing a little "cooking" too!
They couldn't leave kindergarten without getting a little messy!
Hands down it was one special week in kindergarten...
filled with lots of great memories.
Here is a little video of a song we sang in honor of our wonderful mothers...
