We started our week in a positively, perfect way... by making pancakes!
What do you get when you give a kindergartner a pancake?
Lot of smiles!!!
Our week continued with a picnic... with some very special guests!
These special friends helped us as we practiced reading to ourselves.
They were very good listeners.
Before we could have our picnic, we had to go on a "bear hunt" with them...
Our picnic was a challenge to see how many foods we had that started with B and how many started with P.
It was quite the day!
Our beary fun week did not end there...
We actually went on some bear hunts of our own.
I'm not scared!
We also had fun on Opposite Day acting out the story of Goldilocks and the 3 Bears...
"This porridge is too hot!"
"This porridge is too cold!"
This chair is too soft... this one's too hard!
This one is just right... Oops! I broke it!
"Someone's been sleeping in my bed, and there she is!"
We have quite the actors/actresses in this group!
We topped of our Opposite Day with the Opposite Olympics!!!
The 5th graders came to cheer us on...
We did some bowling with big balls and little balls.
Even Mr. Marolf tested his "opposite" bowling skills...
We did the opposite of walking in our obstacle course!
They went over things and under things...
They even made up their own obstacle course.
Mrs. Adams assisted us by teaching a few of her moves in the "opposite synchronized swimming" routines.
Be looking for the video to come out soon!!!
We ended the day with a special awards ceremony.
The best award of all was the GREAT friends we made along the way!!!
Thank you Mrs. Murray's 5th grade class. :)
