Another SENSEsational week!

Our hands were sure busy this week
with big projects
and little projects.
We were also lined up for another SENSEsational week!

With our "mystery snack" game, all of our senses kicked in!

We closed our eyes and used all of our other senses

as we guessed what we had put in our mouths!

We were pretty good guessers!
Another tasting day popped up!
We tasted something sweet,

something sour, something spicy, and something salty.
Some of it we weren't so sure about.

Some of the foods we really didn't like!
Others were pretty good.

When we were all done,

we had to write down what we liked and didn't like.
The sense of sight also came around as we pulled out letters and had to match them up.

If we pulled out a number, we had to hop that many times!
Teamwork also helped us work on matching capital to lowercase letters.

We used our sense of hearing as we listened to a wonderful chapel by Mrs. Linnamen.
She taught us to build our lives on our rock.  JESUS!

After reading about Pete the Cat and his construction of a playground...
we decided to design our own playgrounds.
First we came up with a "blueprint".

Then they assembled it!

The story of the Hungry Caterpillar inspired us to create caterpillars

and butterflies.
We even retold the story using our SMARTboard.
We ended our week with another fun Friday reader!

It was one SENSEsational week!
