A Job Well Done.

Another busy week...
We did a number of exciting things!

YES... X marks the spot of lots of fun!

We kicked the week off with a treasure hunt.

We read clue
after clue...

Finally we were down to our last clue...
It told us to look on the rug.

We found out that we were the real treasure!

Tuesday our new "principal" arrived.

The children enjoyed his story and were eager to tell him!

Another visitor stopped by too!

Officer Fischer brought his amazing dog Phoenix.
Phoenix is a very special and well  trained dog.

He even let the kids pet him and play with  him.

Officer Fischer was very impressed with the kids' questions.
We had a lot of fun...
and learned a lot too!

Wednesday we met my brother Ben (Coach Limback).

They each were able to introduce themselves and ask a question.
The kids did a great job!  They found out a lot about coaching...

and also found out that Coach Ben hasn't always been nice to his sister.  :)

Thursday we went and saw Mrs. W. our strings instructor.

She gave us our own little private concert, complete with the Stars Wars theme song.

In return we gave her LOTS of hugs!

Friday the ZOO had arrived!

After reading The Color Zoo, we created our own colorful zoos.
The children also enjoyed reading the zoo maps.

And then creating their own zoos.

To top our week off, Mrs. P. came with some of her special friends.

First she showed us some x-rays.

She also introduced us to her guinea pig.

We even got to feed it!
Next we learned how to bandage up our stuffed animals.
Some were hurt pretty badly...
Others just had a little scrape.

Even the dog needed some extra love and care.

Charmin also came to visit.
Charmin even liked to dance for the kids!

The kids were very brave...

and petted Charmin.
She was very soft.

And very friendly.  :)

It was another great day!

AND... It was one special week we will never forget.  :)
