Well we did not just sit around and do nothing the last weeks of school!
We had things to do...
Things to learn...
(We LOVE our Elephant and Piggie books!)
And some talented people to meet!
Ian Cole (a.k.a. Yo-yo Guy) came and showed us a few tricks!
A very special vet came and showed us some of her fun animals...
We even got to feed them some "baby food"!
The kids loved meeting these fun creatures!
Another fun visitor was Mr. Wood. He is a police officer and a father to three children at Zion.
He even gave us a special badge to hang up in our room.
A lovely physical therapist joined us and taught us a few things about her job and gave us a few gifts too!
We were then on our way to try out some jobs of our own.
The Magic House was filled with adventures and many magical moments...
We worked on cars...
We served up some smiles...
Gave lots and tender, loving care to the babies.
And made sure their was a wealth of laughter to go around!
We were kind of sad to leave such a magical place.
There was no time to hang our heads in sorrow... we were off to a fun picnic!
It was a great day!
We continued to meet more fun people, including a professional soccer player!
We skyped Brandon Barklage who plays for the New York Red Bulls and is Mrs. Clark's nephew.
Mr. Trampe also came and talked about being a pilot.
Even the fourth graders showed up to share their talents!
The yummiest surprise came when Miss Julie showed up with her donut holes!
She talked about being the owner of Paul's Donuts and of course brought us some treats!
The kids asked her to come back next year to first grade!!! :)
It was then our turn to share a few of our talents...
From shooting hoops to doing one handed cart-wheels...
Yes, Kindergarden's got talent!
Our week was not complete without a trip to first grade.
Mrs. Bernhardt's class read us some stories about what first grade will be like!
Kindergarten was very excited about first grade...
Soooo, they shared their special wheels projects that would wheel them on into first grade!
Their mooooving on into first grade!
Before we left, we celebrated knowing all of our popcorn words and watched the popcorn fly!
Wherever they may go,
I know God will always be with them.
Thank you for all of the wonderful memories!
It was great watching them GROW!
